Premise
God has prepared SDG with expertise and extensive experience in design and planning so that congregational clergy, staff, leaders, and members can focus on Great Commission ministry.
Purpose
The purpose of "Design & Planning Services" is to provide conceptual design, entitlement, cost estimates, construction documents, bidding, and loan applications in order for the congregation to proceed with space and place for ministry.
Process
Based on the congregation's approved Feasibility Study, design documents and a conceptual cost estimate will be prepared for congregational review and approval. Then, application to the governing agencies will be made to obtain preliminary approvals for the project. Upon approval, construction documents will be prepared and cost estimates will be submitted at 25%, 50%, and 75% of completion for congregational review and approval. Final Bid Documents will be prepared and distributed to qualified bidders. Bids will be received, analyzed, and reported to the congregation. Upon approval, contracts will be prepared for signature by congregational representatives.

SDG will provide the following deliverables as part of this service:
Conceptual design documents and cost estimate
Submittal to governing agencies for planning approvals
Attendance at public hearings and meetings to obtain planning approval
Construction documents and at least 3 additional cost estimates
Preparation and distribution of bid documents
Acceptance, analysis, and reporting of bids to congregation
Preparation of contracts for construction
